As you probably heard, in the 12th of January, Haiti was hit by a catastrophic earthquake, followed by at least 52 aftershocks. As of Feb. 12, an estimated three million people were affected by the quake; the Haitian Government reports that between 217,000 and 230,000 people had been identified as dead, an estimated 300,000 injured, and an estimated 1,000,000 homeless. The death toll is expected to rise.They also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged.
The earthquake caused major damage to Port-au-Prince, Jacmel and other settlements in the region. Many notable landmark buildings were significantly damaged or destroyed, including the Presidential Palace, the National Assembly building, the Port-au-Prince Cathedral, and the main jail. Among those killed were Archbishop of Port-au-Prince Joseph Serge Miot, and opposition leader Micha Gaillard. The headquarters of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), located in the capital, collapsed, killing many, including the Mission’s Chief, Hédi Annabi. De astazi publicitatea Google de pe site-ul meu a disparut. Pentru ca ei n-au cum sa controleze fiecare anunt care-l livreaza in parte. Si pentru ca mi-am luat o teapa draguta. Dau click pe un anunt Google si ajung pe 7teste.com care imi ofera un test pentru fumatori. Il completez si ca sa primesc rezultatul imi apare pe site sa trimit un sms care costa 10 centi. Il trimit la un numar din lista si constat ca am fost taxat cu 1.5EUR. Soc! Intru la termenii si conditiile de pe site-ul lor si tarifele pentru numerele de sms din Romania pornesc de la 70 eurocenti pana la 3 EUR. Nicaieri 10 centi. Drept pentru care am trimis un mesaj la Orange Romania si astept raspunsul lor; intre timp mi-am scos toate reclamele AdSense de pe site.

“Atentie: in caz ca nu se trimite, folositi unul din urmatoarele numere [...]”

In traducere libera:
Draga client prepay, daca nu ai credit sa trimiti la primul numar, trimite la urmatoarele pana merge, unul din ele te va taxa pe masura creditului tau!

No.

I don’t agree with abortion. We have free will, but we still have contraceptive methods, we don’t have the right to commit crime.

3. Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
No, they are more organised, and if they have the power and will to win an election, they proved that they can rule a country. If a women would get elected she’d probably motivate herself to do more for a country than any male president.

4. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
I do.

5. Are you for or against premarital sex?
For. You can’t discover your sexuality with only one person. It limits you.

6. Do you believe in God?
Yes.

7. Do you think it’s wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Not really. They’re probably searching for a better life.

8. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
No, here’s my problem. At an older age I’d probably say she should give the child for adoption. But a 12 year old doesn’t have the physical capacity to grow and give birth to a baby without health risks for her and the child.

9. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
In my country it already is at 18. But this doesn’t stop 14 year-old kids to drink heavily. I think that limit is just a formality in my country. People rarely ask you if you’re 18 when you buy alcohol o cigarettes. I’m 18 and I’m rarely asked for an ID in bars. But since I look very young, it happens sometimes.

10. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
yes.

11. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Yes. With one exception, people than have terminal phase illnesses. Nobody deserves to suffer.

12. Do you believe in spanking your children?
Yes, but with a serious reason. Nobody should spank his kid just because he doesn’t have the patience to explain something to him.

13. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Where’s the money?

14. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Who are others to judge me?
